F1 Honda goes under the hammer at Wafi

DUBAI: Wafi Mall has revealed details of its motoring memorabilia sale which will see more than 70 sought after-items go under the hammer at the end of August.

Lots include rare photographs signed by some of Formula One’s greatest legends including Coulthard, Alonso, and Raikkonen and super bike stars such as Biaggi and Rossi.
The highlight of the charity event is the F1 BAR Honda show car, as raced by ex World Champion Jacques Villeneuve during the 2001 season, which will be sold to raise money for the Emirates Airline Foundation.
“The Honda Bar is without doubt a part of Formula One racing history and saw Jacques Villeneuve finish seventh in the 2001 World Championship.”says Jocelyn McBride, marketing manager, Wafi Mall. The charity sale runs until August 31 and is open to the public.
