Britain’s Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, visited Bahrain as part of their 10-day Gulf tour.
During their visit, they met Bahrain’s leaders and discussed ways of further strengthening strong bilateral links.
In the two days they spent in the kingdom, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall also met the British community and were briefed on Bahrain’s culture and heritage during visits to historic houses, museum and cultural centres. They also visited a British naval vessel at Mina Salman port. They were received and sent off by Crown Prince Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
