Deutsche Post World Net chairman and chief executive officer Dr Klaus Zumwinkel visited DHL’s Bahrain offices as part of a regional tour.
The visit coincides with the group’s 30th anniversary in the region. DHL is fully owned by Deutsche Post World Net and Dr Zumwinkel met DHL Express, DHL Exel Supply Chain and DHL Global Forwarding employees, as well as select VIPs and dignitaries in the region. “Our Bahrain hub is the nerve centre of our regional operations and our recent investment ensures our services and facilities are world class, further demonstrating our commitment to Bahrain,” he said. During the visit, Dr Zumwinkel also met DHL Bahrain partner Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa and German Ambassador Roland Herrmann.
