The Migrant Workers Protection Society held a meeting to discuss plans for its annual gala charity dinner dance.
The dinner dance is scheduled to held at the Grand Ambassador Suite, Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel, from 7.30pm on June 7. The fund-raiser will enable the society to continue to provide shelter to abused migrant workers, with the ultimate objective of establishing a permanent shelter. Right, at the meeting are vice chairman Alfredo Alfredo D'Souza, fund-raising committee head Percy Mistry, shelter committee head Florine Mathias, hostess Joyce Boswell, members and volunteers.
