More than 200 award-winning photographs from the world’s largest and most prestigious annual Press photography contest went on show at the Seef Mall.
The World Press Photo Exhibition 2007 was opened by InJAz Bahrain chief executive director Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa and attended by ministry, embassy and World Press Photo officials, as well as members of the Press. This year 4,460 professional photographers from 124 countries entered 78,083 images in this prestigious annual international competition. It will be held until May 24. It is brought to the country for the third consecutive year by Bahrain-based company Miracle Publishing.
