Seef, Juffair and the Diplomatic Area are the most popular commercial destinations in the kingdom ... and now it seems that Budaiya will shortly be making a name for itself on the list.

For those keen to find the right office space, Star International Real Estate has a new commercial development on hand. Located on Budaiya Road is a newly-renovated compound, made strictly for commercial use.

The Busheri Compound has been around for 30 years but as a purely residential home setting. It is now being transformed into a commercial haven for promising entrepreneurs and international companies looking for a base.

The compound is made up of 34 villas and five flats that are ideal for office space, restaurants and cafes. There are different styled villas and flats so the interior varies.

The flats and villas are made up of three to four rooms, a spacious kitchen, a reception area and two to three bathrooms.

The internal fit-outs are left up to the tenant and can be customised to suit requirements - within common sense approval of the landlord.

The villas and flats are also equipped with internet, free local calls up to a limit and reduced rates for international calls. The parking is not an issue on the compound as there is ample space for company executives and visitors.

Those working within the compound will also not need to go far for lunch, as there will be plenty of eateries close by. The cafes and restaurants will each have a beautiful garden that will be ideal for outside seating during good weather.

At the moment, seven villas have been occupied by reputable establishments.
