The stage is set for Bahrain's very first anime and video game convention when Game On presents Animania.
The event, which has been two years in the making, will take place on Friday (the 12th of November) from the Prestige Hall, adjacent to Adhari Park, as well as different locations within the theme park.
The event aims to attract more than 800 animation and video game fanatics from all over Bahrain and neighbouring countries for a full day of interaction and unconventional entertainment. The event will be hosted by local comedian Baraa Abdulla.
The main attraction within the convention will be the 'cosplay' display where guests will dress up as their favourite character from anime shows or video games and interact with other convention patrons.
There will be a competition for both individual and group cosplayers where contestants will be judged by a panel based on their creativity, design and character-mimicking abilities. Game On will sponsor video game competitions held throughout the day as well as discussions about the gaming community in Bahrain.
