The Breast Cancer Support Group (BCSG) will be holding its first meeting of the year at World Beat Fitness Centre Cafe in Janabiya today from 11.30am - 12.45pm.

The BCSG invites any ladies who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, whatever stage of healing they are at, to the meeting.

The group offers support and encouragement from a positive personal experience to others who have been diagnosed with the disease.

The ladies who attend have said they enjoy having the chance to talk to someone who has ‘been there’ too, share experiences and to develop friendships.

The guest speaker is Katariina Balet (katariina.balet@gmail.com), a qualified image consultant. She will give tips about de-cluttering your wardrobe, the perfect combination of colours and other ideas for a New Year new look.

The Breast Cancer Support Group will continue to meet on the first Wednesday of each month at World Beat Fitness Centre Cafe and follows on from a free movement class.

For cancer survivors, Jane Goodwin, the director of World Beat Fitness Centre, offers a free ‘Move to Heal’ class at 10.30am on Wednesdays.
