The Indian Club in Manama will host a festival celebrating the Tamil Nadu harvest festival Pongal on January 13 from 10am onwards. A range of activities including entertainment, dance, music, sports and games have been lined-up. A traditional Pongal lunch with a variety of vegetarian dishes will be served on a banana leaf. A live orchestra will start at 6.30pm featuring popular Tamil songs with cinematic dances.The star attraction of the evening will be Tamil actresses Kavya and Kannal. Entry is free.
