Bahrain Rugby Football Club (RFC) in Saar will this weekend host a special charity netball tournament in aid of the international Movember campaign.
Last year Bahrain RFC raised over BD6,000 for men’s health organisations through its campaign and one of the driving forces behind those efforts, first XV veteran Sal Wilson is back on the trail again.
Not to be outdone by the men, Bahrain RFC’s netballing ladies are getting into the spirit of things by organising Friday’s tournament.
Kicking off at 2pm, the event is open to members and guests aged 14 or over, with the only stipulation being that each team must have two men and two ladies among the seven players on court at all times.
Teams can register by dropping an email to sports.coordinator@bahrainrfc.com, with an entry fee of BD20 per team – which will go directly to Bahrain RFC’s Movember fund – applicable. Individual players are also welcome.
