Husband and wife Rob and Debbie Lane enjoyed a successful weekend at the Royal Golf Club which saw Rob win both the gents gross and nett sections of the DHL Order of Merit Series and Debbie narrowly win the ladies nett section with a score of 75 nett.
The countback system was used to separate Debbie from runner-up Sara Thomson although their positions were reversed in the gross section which Sara won with 89 gross and Debbie was runner-up with a gross score of 94 on countback.
Yaseen Le Falher won first place in the junior section with a gross score of 80 and youngster Taimur Malik was runner-up with 88.
Results: Gents Gross: 1 Rob Lane (gross 72), 2 Hamad Mubarak (74 c/b), 3 Sultan Al Hakam (74). Gents Nett: 1 Rob Lane (nett 69), 2 Taimur Malik (71), 3 Sanjay Lal (72 c/b).
Ladies Gross: 1 Sara Thompson (gross 89), 2 Debbie Lane (94 c/b), 3 Liz Gardner (94). Ladies Nett: 1 Debbie Lane (nett 75 c/b), 2 Sara Thompson (75), 3 Valerie Lim (77). Juniors Gross: 1 Yaseen Le Falher (gross 80), 2 Taimur Malik (88).
