Gulf Weekly Yoon secures ‘Masters’ jacket

Jung Kyung Yoon has become the proud owner of the Royal Golf Club’s green ‘Masters’ jacket after winning the second annual Members’ Masters Championship.
Yoon’s score of 35 points ensured she took the coveted green jacket with a comfortable four-point cushion over runner-up Derrek Ngo. Haitham Haji was awarded third place.

Each player in the 18-hole competition selected the name of one of the professionals competing in the Masters tournament prior to teeing off, then their stableford score was added to the professionals’ converted stableford score from their first round at Augusta to give an aggregate score overall.
Yoon’s 35 points were added to her ‘partner’, Australian Adam Scott’s first day score of 39 points to give a total of 74.
A prize-giving ceremony was held in the Members’ Lounge where golf operations manager Jamie Skinner presented the prizes.
