Mohamed Al Noaimi enjoyed wins in both the gross and nett sections of the monthly DHL Order of Merit competition at the Royal Golf Club and Sara Thompson completed the same feat in the ladies categories.
Al Noaimi achieved a gross score of 68 to win the gross category with a wide margin. Nasser Yacoob was runner-up with 73 on countback and Rob Lane came third, also on 73 gross. Scratch handicapper Al Noaimi’s nett 68 was also enough to clinch the nett division while Paul Talwar came second with 69 on countback and Robert Graham was third, also on 69.
Sara won both ladies categories with scores of 89 gross and 75 nett while Derrek Ngo topped the juniors’ nett division with a nett score of 72, putting him at the top of the junior order of merit.
Consistent performances each month from Rob Lane have put him at the top of both the gross and nett sections of the gents DHL order of merit while his wife, Debbie, remains at the top of both ladies sections.
