Mohammed Akeel and playing partner Iftikhar Butt won first place in the fourth match of the BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club.
The pair scored 24 points, putting them in third place overall on the order of merit. The duo of Rob Mills and Alan Vandewater clinched the runners-up spot with 23 points while JP Scerri and Anders Sandstrom came a close third on 22 points.
Sandstrom won an additional prize for coming closest to the pin on the 12th hole and Sam Jong Kim was closest on hole 16.
The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation in the Members’ Lounge.
The BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf Series takes place at the Royal Golf Club every Monday evening. The 9-hole competitions are open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night and tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start.
