A consistent comment I get from clients is that they will play around 13 or 14 holes well during a round but always have four or five holes where they lose many shots.

18 holes on a golf course is quite a distance to cover. Combined with the average round taking four to five hours, it can prove to be a test of endurance, both physically and mentally.

Why not try breaking your round up into 6 x 3-hole ‘mini’ rounds, setting a score or a target of hitting so many fairways or greens in those three holes. This is a good way to maintain your focus and keep sharp throughout the round.
