Khalifa Daij and playing partner Khalifa Al Merisi won the penultimate competition of the six-week Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a score of 25 points.
The duo of Steve Foster and Eric Jansson came a close second with 24 points while youngsters Eid Adel Meftah and Saud Al Sharif came third with 23 points. Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Sanjay Lal and Ali Al Kowari, respectively.
The win puts Daij and Al Merisi in third place in the overall order of merit with nine points. Rob Lane and Nils Berge lie in second place with 9.5 points while Ali Al Kowari and Yusuf Janahi top the leader board with 11 points.
Sohail Singh, the club’s tournament co-ordinator, presented the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.
