The Royal Golf Club will be holding a wide range of activities and promotions throughout the month of October in support of the Think Pink Bahrain breast cancer awareness charity.
Golf events will include a ‘Beat the Pros’ golf challenge on Saturday, a 9 hole par 3 Night Golf event on Thursday, October 13, a ladies Think Pink Pro-Am tournament on Wednesday, October 19 and an on-course Think Pink selfie station throughout the month. In addition, a portion of every weekend green fee and of every Wednesday evening green fee will be donated to the charity.
The club’s award-winning restaurants are also showing their support by selling special pink desserts and cocktails all month, with a percentage of sales revenue going to the charity. The club’s golf shop, Monty’s Golf & Lifestyle, will be selling special pink shirts and accessories too.
“All of our events and promotions are open to members and visitors,” explained Stephen Havrilla, Royal Golf Club general manager. “With the support of our members and the local community we look forward to raising a good amount of money for this very worthwhile charity.”
