Tawfeeq Al Moayed and playing partner Ahmed Majid narrowly won the Monday Night Lights competition at the Royal Golf Club with a score of 23 points.

The duo of Jamie Bowen and Michael Brightmore had to settle for the runners-up spot after achieving the same score but missing out on count back. Rob Mills and Adrian Morgan took third place with 21 points.

The betterball pair’s stableford competition was played under floodlights on the back 9 holes of the Club’s Montgomerie championship course. The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Members’ Lounge.

The Monday Night Lights 9 hole competitions are open to club members and to non-members with an official handicap at a cost of BD20 per night green fee, plus a BD2 entry fee. The competitions tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start. Non-handicap golfers can use their scores to work towards achieving an official handicap.
