As part of the Discover America Week, the American Mission Hospital (AMH) welcomed Margaret Nardi, chargé d’affaires of the US Embassy in Bahrain, for a tour of the hospital and its clinics as well as its photographic exhibition of the hospital’s history of more than 120 years in the kingdom.
The hospital’s vital link in the relationship between the United States and Bahrain and pioneering role as the region’s first modern hospital was highlighted by corporate chief executive Dr George Cheriyan and group chief executive Julia Tovey during the tour.
Margaret thanked the AMH team for the tour and recognised the role the hospital has played and continues to play in the positive relationship between the US and Bahrain.
