BIG-HEARTED members of staff working for insurance group RSA in Bahrain are taking part in the company's first-ever Volunteer Week in the Middle East. Hundreds of employees from across the region will be dedicating their time to supporting local charity organisations through a range of different activities.

The launch of the Volunteer Week in Bahrain, which runs until Saturday, comes as the result of the success of a similar event in the UK.

A wide variety of activities have been planned for the kingdom, from a special outing to visit with and distribute snacks and gifts to residents of the Isa Town Elderly Home to treating children from the Children's Home in Manama to a day out at Seef Mall, with around 80 volunteers taking part in the programme.
