Gulf Weekly Comfortable victory for Wales and Wagstaff

David Wales and playing partner Stephen Wagstaff enjoyed a comfortable win in week four of the six-week-long Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a score of 24 points.

Ronan Smith and Sebastian Woodrow took second place with 22 points while the duo of Colin Sattar and Paul Close came third with 21 points. Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Sun Kyu Kwak and Rob Lane, respectively.

More than 25 golfers took part in the Rainbow Challenge tournament. Porsche branded tees and flags adorned the golf course and a Porsche 911 Carrera was displayed on the course for the duration of the competition.

The duo of Abdulaziz Ahmed and Sam Jong Kim top the series leader board with seven points while Ali Al Kowari and Yusuf Janahi hold second place with the same number of points.

Sohail Singh, the club’s tournament co-ordinator, presented the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.

1st David Wales & Stephen Wagstaff (24 points), 2nd Ronan Smith & Sebastian Woodrow (22), 3rd Collin Sattar & Paul Close (21), 4th Iftikhar Butt (21), 5th Rajinder Sachdeva & Naeem Khan (20). Nearest the pins: Sun Kyu Kwak (hole 12) & Rob Lane (hole 16).
